Arnisdale, looking towards the Knoydart Peninsula and the lights of Skye beyond.
One of the things I loved about the hamlet of Arnisdale wasn’t just that it was 10 miles down a single-track road to the nearest shop, but how dark it was at night. With no streetlights and its remote location, made it absolutely perfect for enjoying the night sky.
In the centre of this picture stands one of the many beautiful holly trees lining the side of the road, many with bright red berries.
