The Wednesdays plan was to climb to Suidhe Fearghas on the Isle of Arran, past the witches step and then to make my first nights camp on Cir Mhor. But with typical Scottish mountain weather I had solid mist and light rain on the top of Suidhe Fearghas! There was no point carrying on so decided to ride out the bad weather in my tent. 15hrs later at 05:20 on the Thursday morning I looked out of my tent to stars and the lights on the mainland twinkling across the Clyde. What a change of conditions!.. I enjoyed the stunning 360 views and I loved looking down to the Glen Sannox floor some 1800' below me.
