While lying in my car in the wee hours and listening to the wind and driving snow I studied my map to work out my next location for sunrise and settled on loch Buine mòire. I was slightly concerned that I would not be able get along the single track road due to the snow, but once I got moving my car handled the conditions well. I parked up and as night lifted I realised my choose of location was a good one. While photographing I could see some of the local deer population intently studying me from the hill behind.
